Defensive End Jevon Kearse burst upon the NFL stage in 1999 with a club leading 14.5 sacks and dominant play that reminded some folks of Lawrence Taylor.  He was voted as the NFL's defensive rookie of the year.

Halfback Eddie George finished sixth in the NFL with 1304 yards rushing and tied for third in the NFL with 13 TDs from scrimmage in 1999.
